I'm thinking that for my home the SP-3500 would be pretty damn sweet, but I'd love to know what all of you think, so post your opinion on the best speakers that Sansui ever produced. I mean, what should I spend if I get them and still be able to recoup my money if I don't like them? I am looking. This will be a good learning project for me and perhaps others as well who have similar problems with these "muddy" speakers. No problem for me lost all the time. The 200's are one model down in the series and lack the big midrange horns, the woofers with the multi-magnet structure, and are dissimilar in almost everything but general appesrance. They are in pretty decent. Probably will need to be re-capped though. Cabs n grills nice, all the drivers where a little dirty after a little clean up they look all but new. Just want to know if anyone had any input into which would play nicer with my 535. I'm not an elec. Does the matching of speakers with the 2000 make sense in terms of that "warm, tube-like quality" for which we're a searching.
